Since ancient times, songs have been an effective means of expressing human emotions and feelings. Through the genre of songwriting in Urdu literature, many lyricists, and on the basis of their creative abilities, many excellent songs have been included in literature. Which became quite popular due to their subject matter and style of expression. Among them, a well-known name is Miraji. Whose songs have their own unique place due to their uniqueness. This article has been presented to clarify this place and status.This article is divided into three chapters. Chapter one describes the introduction and tradition of lyricism. Lyricism is an expression of love by a woman. In which the beloved is a man. And the lover is a woman. Musicality is the main aspect in lyricism. Its tradition is quite ancient. The medium of expressing the emotions of human life is his voice, through which he expresses his happiness and sorrow. When he is physically happy, he expresses his happiness through dance. But when he is internally happy, he expresses it through words. Which come before us in the form of lyricism. Many lyricists in Urdu literature have immensely added to the tradition of lyricism by expressing their emotions through their words. Who have been mentioned briefly in this chapter.The second chapter sheds light on the personality and art of Miraji. To understand any poet or writer, a careful study of his life is a very important process. Because the poet's works reflect his personality. And the environment in which he grew up, over time, its effects were found from his personality to his works. Miraji is a pioneer of modernity. He made new experiments in Urdu poetry. And he adopted a modern style, breaking away from tradition. In addition to lyric writing, he also experimented in the genres of poetry, like Nazam and Ghazal.He wrote critical essays that hold a unique place in Urdu literature. Various aspects of his art have been discussed in this chapter.The third chapter presents an overall critical review of Miraji's lyricism. His songs depict various aspects of life and human emotions and feelings. At the same time, there is a deep observation of human psychology. Which presents Miraji to the reader as a person with a conscious and creative mind. His songs are rich in musicality and lyricism. He presented the unwavering reality of human life through his songs, based on his studies and experience.Miraji had a deep affinity with the land of India. His songs show devotion to the Hindu Dev Malayalam culture and civilization there. In addition,the instability of this world, the changes that occur in it day by day, and how their cumulative effects affect human life. And through them, the ability to handle life's affairs with wisdom.This is the main aspect of his lyricism.Apart from this, he made many different aspects a part of his lyrics. Love and affection, happiness and sorrow, symbolic poetry, the use of punctuation marks are present in his songs. Reading his songs, where one feels the life, there is sadness and a ray of hope in time.His use of simple and short sentences, which are very big in their meaning, is a manifestation of the success of his lyricism.
