چکیده

beautiful means of expression, interpretation, and understanding in every language. Moreover, all forms of material education and training find their fulfillment through the use of such literary devices. This is why no literature—whether human or divine—has ever remained devoid of similes and metaphors, as their absence would be inconceivable. Just as the Divine Speech (the Qur’an) employs similes and parables as a means of clear communication, similarly, Prophetic speech (Hadith) frequently utilizes these tools for effective understanding. A concept or message, when conveyed through a simile or example, becomes more firmly rooted in the listener’s mind. Such illustrative expression also generates interest and helps the audience grasp the intended message more swiftly and deeply. In the forthcoming article, selected metaphorical and illustrative examples from the Prophetic discourse () are presented.
