ATHEISM AND DOUBTS AMONG YOUTH: THE PROPHETIC MODEL OF FAITH-BASED GUIDANCE

In the contemporary world, atheism has emerged as a significant intellectual and spiritual challenge, particularly among the youth. Rapid technological advancement, exposure to secular ideologies, and weakened religious education have contributed to a growing sense of doubt regarding traditional faith narratives. This paper examines the rising phenomenon of atheism among young people and explores how the Prophetic model, as exemplified in the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (صلی ﷲ علیہ وسلم), provides a comprehensive framework to address this crisis of belief. By analysing the causes behind the spread of atheistic tendencies and evaluating the Prophetic methods of nurturing faith, resolving doubts, and fostering critical yet spiritually anchored minds, this study highlights actionable insights for educators, parents, and community leaders. The paper argues that a return to the Prophetic approach offers a balanced and deeply humane strategy for restoring faith in an age of scepticism.
