چکیده

Social etiquette refers to those rules and principles that form the foundation of relationships between individuals in a society. These etiquettes are based on moral and social codes that promote an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust within the community. The presence of social etiquette not only encourages a person to respect the rights of others but also enables them to play a positive role in society through their character and behavior. These principles reflect the culture, religion, and values of a society and provide individuals with the opportunity to lead a peaceful and constructive life. When such a relationship is connected with a sacred personality—especially the Final Prophet (peace be upon him)—the importance of social etiquette increases even further. In such relationships, adopting the highest standards of respect becomes a moral responsibility for every individual. The opening verses of Surah Al-Hujurat present these very etiquettes with great refinement and eloquence. In this article, a detailed comparative analysis of the social etiquettes mentioned in these verses is presented in the light of Tafsir Ma'arif al-Qur'an and Tafsir Tadabbur al-Qur'an, so that their various dimensions can be better understood.
