Interfaith harmony has become an increasingly significant subject in contemporary religious and social discourse due to growing cultural diversity and global interconnectedness. Islam, as a universal religion, provides comprehensive guidance regarding peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, justice, and constructive engagement with followers of other faiths. The Qur'an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) contain numerous teachings that promote dialogue, tolerance, compassion, and cooperation among different religious communities while preserving the distinct identity and beliefs of each faith tradition. This study presents an overview of the concept of interfaith harmony as reflected in the Qur'an and the Prophetic traditions. It explores the fundamental principles of human dignity, religious freedom, justice, peaceful coexistence, and mutual understanding embedded in Islamic teachings. The article further examines the practical implementation of these principles during the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), particularly in his interactions with Jews, Christians, and other religious groups. The study concludes that the Qur'an and Hadith provide a balanced framework for fostering peaceful interreligious relations while maintaining commitment to one's religious convictions. Such teachings remain highly relevant in addressing contemporary challenges related to religious diversity and social cohesion.
